The beginning of last week marked the end of our #streetphotography contest on EYESO’s Instagram page. Just like every month, we dedicated 7 days to a new photography topic, choosing some of the best shots taken by our community. For the rest of the week we had a bit of all worlds – nature photography, fashion/portrait photography, and, last but not least, the whimsical images of our new featured artist – Sofie Sund.
Monday was the final day of our #streetphotography challenge, and we celebrated it with photos by Mizuki Tanaka, Maximilian Streich, and Megumi.

Our next selection presented nature photography, as seen by Casey Horner, Ian Froome, and Daniil Silantev.

Wednesday was, as usually, the day we introduce you to our new featured artist. Last week our guest was Sofie Sund – a talented photographer based in Trondheim, Norway.
Last year Sofie graduated “Norwegian school of photography”. Her journey as a photographer started in 2008 when her dad let her try his DSLR camera for the first time – that was the moment she instantly fell in love with photography. Sofie says she has never been good at expressing herself through words; instead of that she’s using photography as a natural way to do it.

On Thursday our focus was nature photography, as we featured the images of Alexandra Marcu, Edh’o Fitrah, and Andrik Langfield.

Friday was dedicated to portrait and fashion photography in mysterious dark colors. For our selection we picked the photos of Azamat Zhanisov, Richard Jaimes, and Nik MacMillan.

On Saturday we found ourselves dreaming of distant destinations, which explains our curated selection of planes flying in the air. We featured photos by Kieron Mannix, Markus Lompa, and Tan Kaninthanond.
